More people recover from COVID-19 in Kazakhstan in 24 hrs

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – 2,202 people have beat the coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours, Kazinform has learnt from coronavirus2020.kz.

The highest number of COVID-19 recoveries was registered in Almaty region – 507. Ranked second is Almaty city with 290 COVID-19 recoveries. East Kazakhstan region recorded 210 COVID-19 recoveries.

Akmola region added the fourth highest number – 188 COVID-19 recoveries. Ranked 5th is Atyrau region with 173 people who beat the novel coronavirus. Karaganda region is 6th with 157 COVID-19 recoveries.

The Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, and Pavlodar region reported 150 COVID-19 recoveries each.

133 people fully recovered from the coronavirus infection in Kyzylorda region, 100 – in Zhambyl region, 47– in North Kazakhstan region, 25 – in Turkestan region, 24 – in Shymkent city, 22 – in Kostanay region, 14 – in Mangistau region, and 12 – in West Kazakhstan region.

Nationwide, 812,883 people have recovered from COVID-19 since the onset of the pandemic.
