ASTANA. August 5. KAZINFORM The joint peacekeeping exercise called "Steppe Eagle" on August 10 will be conducted by the military of Kazakhstan, the USA and the UK. This has been announced today by the official representative of the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan Altai Abibullayev.

"As part of the implementing the plan for action and partnership between Kazakhstan and the NATO signed on January 31, 2006, as well as in whole in the framework of "Partnership for Peace" program between Kazakhstan and the NATO on August 10 in Kazakhstan there will take place the annual field tactical special peacekeeping exercise called "Steppe Eagle" said A. Abibullayev.

According to him the exercises will involve the armed forces of Kazakhstan, the U.S. and the UK.
