Mels Eleusizov announces his candidacy for president

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - The leader of the Environmental Union called "Tabigat" Mels Eleusizov has announced his candidacy for president of Kazakhstan during a press conference in Almaty.

According to his words he will participate in the presidential race not to become the head of state, but to let people know about the ecological state of Kazakhstan and the world. "I do not want power and I go for it not because of money. For me the question of ecology is in the first place. My main goal is to let people know about the environmental situation of the country," said M.Eleusizov. Mr. Mels Eleusizov noted that he has already run for president twice. Tomorrow he will go to Astana to file the documents.
