A festive presentation in Boxing Center named after S. Sapiyev involved 300 pupils from seven orphanages. Children participate in national games and competitions.
Famous couple of weightlifters - Olympic champion Maya Maneza and the winner of the Asian Games Vyacheslav Yershov congratulated orphans of Karaganda.
"We have celebrated Nauryz at home with our family. I can feel here festive atmosphere," said Mr. Yershov.
According to his words, their international family intertwined different traditions. "I became a frequent visitor to China, the birthplace of Maya. I quickly got used to Chinese cuisine, to its traditions. I know somewhere more than 100 Chinese words. Our son Arseny, who is now one and a half years, will learn a minimum of four languages including Russian, Chinese, Kazakh and English," shared Vyacheslav Yershov, the winner of the Asian Games.
After the holiday, the couple of weightlifters also met with young athletes of Karaganda. M. Maneza said that after giving birth to her son she quickly returned to the sport. Now her goal is to participate in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
