Majilis OKs bill on new functions of National Bank of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. June 12. KAZINFORM Majilis, Lower Chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, discussed a draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts on the organization of activity of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan,

regulation of the financial market and financial organizations" on Tuesday (June 12) at the extended session of the Committee for Finance and Budget under the chamber.

In line with the bill reviewed, the National Bank of Kazakhstan will be entrusted with new functions. It is to regulate and monitor the financial market and organizations and activity of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty city.
