Majilis Chairman, PM of Lithuania discuss issues of coop

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today Majilis chairman Kabibulla Dzhakupov and Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius have discussed the issues of strengthening Kazakh-Lithuanian cooperation including at the parliamentary level.

According to Majilis chairman, the new economic policy of the President of Kazakhstan "Nurly Zhol", FIID program, favorable investment climate and the liberalization of labor laws for foreign investors open great opportunities for expansion of cooperation. Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has congratulated Kazakhstan on the 20th anniversary of the Constitution, the 20th anniversary of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan, as well as on the possibility of holding Expo-2017. Speaking about the direction of the inter-parliamentary relations, Kabibulla Dzhakupov and Algirdas Butkevičius noted the work of cooperation groups in the Majilis and the Seimas. In their opinion, inter-parliamentary cooperation is an important part of the partnership between the two countries.
