ASTANA. April 13. KAZINFORM At the end of March, 2011 the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan sponsored "Made in Kazakhstan", an exhibit created and organized by three talented American artists who are also friends and family of the U.S. Embassy including - resident Fulbright Student Emily Mihalik; Yong-Yi Chung and Sara Burgess at Kulanshi contemporary art center.

This event exhibited the work of three female artists during Women's History Month as we celebrate the role of women in many areas including the realm of art. It also gave an opportunity to discuss the paintings and photographs with the artists themselves to hear more about the American cultural context of their work, making this event even more exciting and meaningful, the press service of the United States Diplomatic Mission to Kazakhstan reports.
