Kyokushin karate republic championship kicks off in Astana March 22

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - March 22 Astana will host Kyokushin karate republic championship for the first time ever.

It is expected that the event will bring together 700 athletes from 14 regions of the country. The winners will perform at the World Cup 2016 in Astana. The tournament is organized by Kazakhstan Kyokushin Karate Organization and the Ministry of Culture and Sports. Head Judge of the sports event is the only won winner of 6th dan rank in Central Asia, founder of Kazakhstan's movement of Kyokushin karate Shihan Tadzhimurat Naizabekov. In 2014 Kyokushin Karate Federation of Kazakhstan won in the nomination "The best sports organization in Kazakhstan among non-Olympic sports". It should be noted that Kyokushin Karate Federation of Kazakhstan is implementing a new social project "Karate in villages". An experimental program has been started in the villages of North-Kazakhstan region. The program includes free training of students of sports departments of colleges and institutes with subsequent employment in rural schools.
