KIA Cadenza sedan 2014 joins «ASIA AUTO» line
KIA Cadenza front-drive sedan is the first new development of May 2013 which entered the Kazakh market following the recent presentation at the Detroit auto show.
The plant started the production of KIA Cadenza executive saloon simultaneously with the appearance of the model in the U.S. market and much earlier its output to the European market. In the line of the KIA brand the Cadenza model is intermediate between the business Optima sedan and the premium flagship Quoris.
Following the results of 2012 the previous version of KIA Cadenza was among the three best-selling models of E segment in Kazakhstan.
"In January-April 2014 the plant will produce 9,207 cars which is 3.3 times more than the year before. Four out of five of all cars assembled in Kazakhstan have been shipped to "ASIA AUTO". Talking about the range of KIA models, in January-April 2013 KIA became number 2 foreign on the Kazakhstan market.
The quality of produced cars can provide the customer with a unique environment after sales service. The warranty on all KIA models coming off the "ASIA AUTO" assembly line is valid for 5 years or 150,000 kilometers. It is one of the essential elements of KIA success in the domestic market ", said Erzhan Mandiyev, the President of "ASIA AUTO" JSC.
The updated Kia Cadenza 2014 differs from the previous version by the new corporate H-shaped radiator grille, redesigned head lights with LED running lights and a modified front bumper. The car "hull back" is featured by new optics, a different form of exhaust pipes, bumper reflectors and decorative chrome strip on the deck lid. The interior of the new model cabin is made from soft leather, wood and chrome accents that immerse passengers in a premium environment. In order to optimize comfort and control the center console is angled towards the driver. The elegant analog clock is located on the central part giving the cabin a classic look.
The updated sedan is equipped with the most powerful engine in the KIA line units - 3,5 liter gasoline engine GDI V6 (290 hp). Power is easily transmitted through a six-speed automatic transmission having a Sportmatic mode and steering switches.
The car is designed with a unique technology of noise reduction including hydraulic fixtures and specially designed wheel "fins" that help to reduce wind noise at high speeds.
Kia Cadenza has a serious set of systems of both active and passive safety features including a system for monitoring "blind spots", Vehicle Stability Control, rear view camera with display in the center console, front and side airbags, curtain airbags, ABS, rollover sensor and others.
The car has got the highest rating on the crash tests results conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety of the United States and the highest rating of the American Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
