Keyki batyr, Nurmagambet Kokembayuly (1871-1923) -  batyr, participant of the Torgay rebellion of 1916. Born in Baytuma settlement in Kostanay region and descended from the kypchak stem of the Orta Zhuz.

Keyki batyr participated in the Torgay rebellion in 1916 and was distinguished in many battles. He never accepted the Soviet power. Being a courageous and clever person he spoke his mind openly which made the authority dislike him. After the death of Amangeldy on May 18 , 1919 and the death of Abdigapar Khan  Keyki Batyr was impelled to leave for Ulytau and Kyzylkumy. April 22, 1923 he was killed.

For a long time it was forbidden to speak about Keyki Batyr. Later a lot of books, poems and documentaries were created about his feats. A bust monument was established in Arkalyk in honor of his 125th anniversary.
