Kazykhanov to attend SCO Foreign Ministers' Council

BEIJING. May 11. KAZINFORM Foreign Affairs Minister of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kazykhanov arrived today in Beijing to attend the meeting of the SCO Foreign Ministers' Council.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Kazykhanov is scheduled to meet today with his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi.

Then starts the meeting of the SCO Foreign Ministers' Council.

In the afternoon the Kazakh FM is to attend an opening ceremony of the new building of the SCO Secretariat in Beijing.

Besides, President Hu Jintao is expected to meet with SCO foreign ministers and reps of SCO permanent bodies.
