KazRefinEx 2011 Symposium kicked off in Almaty today

ALMATY. March 24. KAZINFORM KazRefinEx Symposium, Kazakhstan's leading international refining and petrochemistry forum, and attracting influential figures from the international refining and petrochemistry industry has started its work today in Almaty.

KazRefinEx Special features a new format of business meetings and discussions: a technical symposium, three round tables, two day event, an exhibition and post presentations at the stands, the Refining Leaders Awards. In the period of the current global economic crisis it is quite important we develop open dialogue and exchange the views regarding the current situation, a possible scenario of events and evaluations of the main risks by international experts, institutions and top managers of Kazakh oil and gas refining and petrochemical companies. KazRefinEx is attended by VIPs including high-ranking delegations, government officials and export managers from leading oil and gas companies from across the globe. The event is traditionally supported by Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan, Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna, KAZENERGY Association, Kazakhstan Petroleum Association, KazMunayGas National Company, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, Petroleum Refiners Association of Russian Federation.

According to the British-Kazakh Society it takes place annually and is attended by over 250 delegates and over 8 sponsors.
