Kazakhstanis have 3 days off on Int’l Women’s Day

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In March Kazakhstan people will have eight days off.

In the event that a national holiday falls on weekend (Saturday or Sunday), the days-off shall be extended by one day. Thus, on the International Women's Day, which is celebrated in Kazakhstan on March 8, citizens of Kazakhstan will have three days off including 7, 8 and 9 March. Nauryz is also a state holiday and is celebrated from March 21 to 23, inclusively. March 21 and 22 are Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Thus, Kazakhstanis will have 5 days off: from 21 to 25 March.
