Kazakhstan wants to repeat its London-2012 triumph in Sochi in 2014: Yermegiyayev

ASTANA. December 11. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Sport Affairs and Physical Culture Talgat Yermegiyayev has chaired today a meeting of the office on the preparations for the XXII Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014.

President of the National Olympic Committee Temirkhan Dosmukhambetov and heads of regional departments for tourism, physical culture and sport were in attendance.

Yelsiyar Kanagatov, Vice Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Sport Affairs and Physical Culture, and some of the participants reported on the preparations of the national teams for the XXII Olympic Winter Games.

According to T. Yermegiyayev, the national team of Kazakhstan should do its best to repeat its 2012 London Summer Olympics triumph in Sochi. He also emphasized it was crucial to create necessary conditions for each athlete of the team.

"Achievements of our athletes demonstrate the level of Kazakhstan's development," he stressed.
