Kazakhstan took part in CIS youth council sitting in Armenia

ASTANA. April 20. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan took part in the regular sitting of the youth council of the CIS member states, held in Yerevan on April 18-19, the reps of the youth congress of Kazakhstan said.

One of the main issues of the agenda was the holding of open International Youth Delphic Games of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2012 in Astana. Those gathered have come to a decision to develop youth parliamentarism in CIS and proposed to create a youth editorial office on the ground of "Mir" International TV and Radio Company. They also agreed to help prepare events for the 70^th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.

The next meeting will convene this autumn in Dushanbe and will be devoted to the 20^th anniversary of the CIS foundation.
