Kazakhstan to surmount global crisis, to reach new heights

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "In his State-of-the-Nation Address Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev announced a new economic policy of Kazakhstan that will help meet the global crisis impacts," Irina Burkovskaya, Aiyurtau Inform LLP director, said.

"The country has additional reserves at its National Fund to develop further transport, energy, industrial and social infrastructure, small and medium business under the challenging economic conditions. And it fuels confidence in the future. The Government will support small and medium business projects, light and chemical industry, machine building and other sectors. Certain measures will be taken to rehabilitate the country's banking sector, transport infrastructure development, attracting of new investments into the country's economy," she noted. She also highlighted the new housing program declared by the President.
