Kazakhstan to expand education partnership within Bolashak Scholarship - Head of State

SEOUL. April 23. KAZINFORM /Yernur Akanbay/ Kazakhstan intends to expand educational exchange with Korea within the framework of Bolashak Program. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has made it public while addressing the faculty and students of the Korean University today.

"Presently, 100 students from Kazakhstan study in the universities of South Korea. We intend to expand educational exchange within the framework of Bolashak Program", the President said.

According to him, the younger generation will determine the future of relations between our states. They will have to form common values, strengthen confidence between the peoples of the two states and work for the sake of secure and prosperous future of Eurasian and the whole world.

N. Nazarbayev noted that his visit was timed to the opening of the Year of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Korea. This large-scale cultural activity has much significance for deepening humanitarian and cultural cooperation, enhancement of spiritual contacts between the two states.
