Kazakhstan to draft infrastructure development program 2015-2019

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The Government of Kazakhstan will draft by the yearend an infrastructure development program for 2015-2019," 1st Vice Premier of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev said at the meeting of the nationwide coalition of democratic forces Kazakhstan 2050.

"Pursuant to the President's instructions the Government works at the infrastructure development program 2015-2019," he added. "Construction of the Western Europe-Western China highway will continue. We have to complete it next year. KZT 321,3 bln will be allocated for the construction and reconstruction of the Centre-South, Centre-East, Centre-West roads," he said representing the updated data of the nationwide plan on seven directions of the country's infrastructure development outlined in the President's Address. According to him, construction of five big highways with total length of 5,452 km will also start the countrywide.
