Kazakhstan to dissolve 60 subsidiaries of national companies

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "It is proposed to wind up 60 subsidiaries of Kazakhstan-based national companies," Economy and Budget Planning Minister Yerbolat Dossayev told a briefing at the Central Communications Service in Astana.

"As for national holdings and companies 163 assets will be transferred to the competitive environment. It is suggested also to dissolve 60 subsidiaries of companies, and reorganize by way of merger 28 organizations formed earlier as part of the national holdings," he added. According to him, such a restructuring will lead to reducing of the number of the national companies by 36% to make 464 organizations at large.
