Kazakhstan to create independent information space

ASTANA. October 6. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan plans to create independent competitive information space that will be based on the cutting-edge technologies.

Saken Sarsenov, Vice Minister of Transport and Communications, announced the news on Friday (October 5) at the session on implementation of the State Program "Information Kazakhstan - 2020".

"There are three models of development of the information society in the world - the Asian model, the European model and the American one," Vice Minister noted.

Kazakhstan rests on the border of Europe and Asia and will use both the Asian and European models in order to implement the program, according to S. Sarsenov.
