Kazakhstan to channel significant public funds into Nurly Zhol realization, President

ASTANA. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Askhat Daulbayev and head of the Civil Service Affairs and Anticorruption Agency Kairat Kozhamzharov, the Akorda press service said.

The President noted importance of stepping up the work under the Nur Otan Party Anticorruption Program for 2015-2025 adopted recently at the enlarged meeting of the Party Political Council. "Kazakhstan has done a lot over the past years from the viewpoint of eliminating roots of bribery. In particular, corruption fighting efforts were stepped up through legislative amendments, contacts between officials and entrepreneurs were reduced. As Askhat Daulbayev said, the Prosecutor General's Office will monitor efficient use of every tenge and prevention of embezzlement of the means allocated for further economic development. According to the head of the Civil Service Affairs and Anticorruption Agency, the tasks outlined in the President's Address are of high priority.
