Kazakhstan to celebrate 550th anniversary of Kazakh Khanate abroad

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Next year we will celebrate the country's landmark events such as the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate, the 20th anniversary of the Constitution and the Year of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan," Kazakh Foreign Minister Erlan Idrissov said in his New Year congratulatory speech.

Besides, Kazakhstan will move further to achieve its main goal aimed at creating favorable conditions to have Kazakhstan 2050 Strategy and Nurly Zhol new economic policy realized. Idrissov stressed that the ministry will resume its strenuous efforts to set up an Islamic organization for food security in Astana, create an official development assistance system, including KazAID, preparations for EXPO 2017, promotion of the country's candidacy to take the UN Security Council seat. "We will also further mutual beneficial relations with old and new partners, especially in Africa and South America," Idrisosv said.
