Kazakhstan to assemble Ka 226T helicopters

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan will assemble and maintain Ka 226T helicopters," director of Aircraft Repair Plant 405 JSC of Almaty city Konstantin Ushakov said today at an event dated to the 75th anniversary of the plant in Astana.

The plant cooperates with the Kazakh Defence Ministry, Emergencies Committee, National Guard, Frontier Service, etc. As stated there, for the past years the plant achieved great success in maintaining and repairing aircrafts and helicopters used in Kazakhstan and abroad. Since 1992 it has repaired above 80 MI 8/17 helicopters made in Russia, mastered above 300 technological processes.
