Kazakhstan to adopt a new geological prospecting concept

ASTANA. July 4. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan will adopt a new geological prospecting work concept," 1st Deputy Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov said at the Mining and Metallurgy Congress started today in Astana.

"The concept will be based on the state-of-the-art technologies, the latest methods and the best practice of geological exploration," he added.

According to Akhmetov, all the mining and metallurgical projects, including the Industrialization Map projects undergo compulsory expert review and environmental impact analysis.
