Kazakhstan skiers Alexey Poltoranin, Nikolay Chebotko win bronze at World Championship

ASTANA. February 25. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan duo Alexey Poltoranin and Nikolay Chebotko won bronze at the men's team sprint at the Nordic World Ski Championship in Val di Fiemme, Italy on Sunday, Kazinform refers to Vesti.kz.

It were Alexei Petukhov and Nikita Kriukov of Russia who won the championship taking home the coveted gold. Sweden's Marcus Hellner and Emil Joensson secured their silver medals by coming second.

Jessica Diggins and Kikkan Randall gave the United States its world championship gold in women's cross-country skiing.

Anna Stoyan and Oxana Yatskaia from Kazakhstan failed to reach the women's final.
