Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry condemns Paris massacre

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - "Kazakhstan condemns the terrorist attack that took place in Paris on January 7, 2014. We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims," says a statement published on the Facebook account of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes its support in the fight against extremism in all its forms and "intends to continue work with the international partners in confronting such vile acts". Recall that the gunmen attacking the offices of the magazine on Wednesday killed 12 people. According to police at least 11 people were injured with some of them suffering life-threatening injuries. French police released pictures of two brothers still wanted over the shooting assault. The brothers were identified as Said and Cherif Kaouchi, aged 34 and 32 respectively. The third accomplice was Hamyd Mourad, 18. The youngest of the three suspects in the deadly attack on French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has surrendered. French President Francois Hollande announced Thursday, Jan. 8, a mourning day all over France, and flags will be at half-staff for three days, for all the victims of the attack.
