Kazakhstan's export to CU states increased by 66% in 1Q

ASTANA. July 12. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ "For the first quarter of 2011 the volume of Kazakhstan's export to the Customs Union member countries grew by 66%," senior analyst of the Investment Profitability Research Agency Gulnur Rakhmatullina told at today's roundtable discussion.

According to the Kazakh Statistics Agency, in 2010 Kazakhstan's export to the CU states increased by 39.4%, import rose by 23.7%. For the past 4 months of 2011 the total volume of Kazakhstan's export to the CU member countries escalated by 65.8% against the analogous period of the previous year, import showcased 38.6% growth.
