ASTANA. July 29. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan's Customs have simplified customs clearance procedure. This has been made possible thanks to the joint efforts of the Customs authorities and the participants of foreign economic activity, the press service of the Customs Control Committee says.

During one of the sessions (Advisory Council of the Customs Control Committee) the participants of foreign trade activities proposed to simplify the customs declaration in respect of electrical goods, oils, lubricants, tires and rubber tires.

The bottom line is that until recently, businesses have had to pay additional 25 euros for each additional page of the customs declaration for customs clearance of goods mentioned above.

Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan sent to the Eurasian Economic Commission a proposal to amend the instructions to eliminate the some restrictions. These simplifications have been supported by the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission on 25 June 2013 number 137, which have entered into force on 25 July 2013 and are related to the goods documented on the territory of Kazakhstan.

The next step in streamlining customs clearance will be reduction of not only time, but also money the participants of foreign economic activity have to pay, and it will be a new impetus for effective collaboration in the future.
