ASTANA. KAZINFORM The Legatum Prosperity Index ranks Kazakhstan 55th in its 2014 Prosperity Index.

The country's best performance is in the Social Capital sub-index, where it ranks 35th in 2014. The GDP per capita reached USD 13, 916,60. The Average Life Satisfaction hit 5,8 out of 10. China ranks 54th, while Uzbekistan is 57th, Russia 68th and Kyrgyzstan 74th. The Prosperity Index is the only global measurement of prosperity based on both income and wellbeing. It is the most comprehensive tool of its kind and is the definitive measure of global progress.
