ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan plans to introduce a visa-free regime with 26 countries by this summer, Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Gulnar Kurbanbayeva informed during the CCS media briefing.

"The issue regarding visa-free regime is being addressed at a high level now. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Internal Affairs, National Security Committee and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs have jointly with the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan developed a project on increasing the number of countries Kazakhstan has a visa-free regime with. We hope this will help us in holding the EXPO-2017. We hope that by this summer we will have a new normative legal act allowing us to introduce a visa-free regime with more countries," she informed.
