Kazakhstan marks Constitution Day
ASTANA. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan's Constitution was adopted at the nationwide referendum on August 30, 1995.
The Constitution of Kazakhstan is the main law of the country reflecting the will of the nation and its aspiration to the formation of a democratic, rule-of-law and social state.
The Constitution defines fundamental rights and freedoms of the citizens and enshrines human and his life as the highest state values.
The Constitution Day was declared as the day off in Kazakhstan. Mass events dedicated to this holiday are being held countrywide.
