ASTANA. May 22. KAZINFORM Reps of Kazakh state agencies, Supreme Court, General Prosecutor's Office, Justice and Interior Ministries, international human righst organizations, UN, EU and OSCE bodies, Kazakhstani and foreign experts took part in the opening of the expert conference on implementation of the national human rights action plan for 2009-2012 during 2009-2010.

Head of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan, Ambassador Aurélia Bouchez, head of the OSCE Centre in Astana, Ambassador Natalia Zarudna, Kazakh Ambassador-at-Large Madina Djarbussynova took the floor.

"Kazakhstan is the key partner of the European Union in Central Asia, we are negotiating further deepening of partnership and cooperation, she said. Today's conference is of great importance for broadening constructive relations and its outcome will pave the foundation for further negotiations on EU-Kazakhstan cooperation."

The project is implemented by Kazakhstan International Bureau for Human Rights and Rule of Law, Legal Policy Research Centre and MediaNet ICJ.
