ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan is doing much to solve the problem of food security in the Central Asian region and in the world, this has been said by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States in the Republic of Kazakhstan George A. Krol at a conference on food security in Astana.

"Here in Kazakhstan, food security is of particular relevance. This is not because Kazakhstan is suffering in terms of food security but because Kazakhstan is doing a lot to solve the problem of food security in the region and in the world. And without a doubt, Kazakhstan, being the 9th largest country in the world, has a huge agricultural potential. Kazakhstan has a clear goal - to become an agricultural leader in the region and in the world," said G.Krol.
