Kazakhstan in the forefront of global anti-nuclear movement, N.Nazarbayev

TANA. October 12. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ "Kazakhstan is in the forefront of global anti-nuclear movement," Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev said at today's international conference "For a Nuclear Weapons Free World".

"15 years ago Kazakhstan joined the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. With countries of the region we signed the Semipalatinsk treaty on establishing a nuclear-free zone in Central Asia. And today Kazakhstan is leading the way of nuclear non-proliferation," the Head of State said.
