ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan has every chance to become one of the leading countries of the world," Chairman of the Coordinating Council of Foreign Friendship Societies in Croatia Andrija Karafilipovic said.

"I believe, the new economic policy of President Nursultan Nazarbayev outlined in his State-of-the-Nation Address reflects the global economic, I would rather say, geopolitical situation. Realization of the Address should help the country's economy and society be on trend of the world developments. I think the package of measures set forth in the key strategic document of the country aims at keeping forward. And in case of its fulfillment Kazakhstan has every opportunity to turn into one of the leading and prosperous countries of the world," he added.
