BERLIN. KAZINFORM The 4th meeting of the Kazakh-German cultural cooperation commission met in Berlin. Head of the culture committee of the Kazakh Culture Ministry Tleugali Kishkashbayev headed the Kazakh delegation, our correspondent reports.

The parties debated issues concerning widening the cooperation in the fields of arts, culture, cinematography, sports and educations, promotion of academic and scientific exchanges, cooperation in the sphere of information and archive-keeping. Gernot Erler, Germany's special coordinator for Russia and eastern neighbourhood countries, addressing those present said that the sitting will give an additional impulse to bilateral cooperation between the two nations at the background of the advanced level of the political dialogue and economic relations. In his turn, Kishkashbayev underlined the importance of Germany's proposals to boost cooperation in culture and education in the light of the President's State-of-the-Nation Address as of January 17, 2014. One of the breakthroughs is a mutual aspiration of the sides to contribute to widening of teaching Kazakh in Germany and the German language in Kazakhstan. The meeting ended with signing the final protocol to regularize cooperation priorities for the years ahead.
