Kazakhstan expects to join WTO this year

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan is expected to enter the WTO this year," President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said addressing the opening session of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank started in Astana.

"Kazakhstan continues its efforts to form the Eurasian Economic Union that groups Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. We have already integrated within the Customs Union. It has benefiting all of us. We vow to deepen and widen our further cooperation," the President noted. "We will complete the negotiation process on Kazakhstan's WTO accession and hope to gain full membership in the Organization in 2014," Nursultan Nazarbayev resumed.
