Kazakhstan expects to complete WTO accession talks by the year-end

ASTANA. February 27. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan is expected to complete talks on its accession to the World Trade Organization by the end of this year", Kazakh Premier Karim Massimov said.

"Kazakhstan's WTO accession remains strategic priority of the country's foreign policy," Premier Massimov told the enlarged meeting of Nur Otan Party faction held at the Kazakh Majilis.

"The Kazakh Government maintains the maximum favorable terms for the country's further economic development after the WTO accession taking into account Kazakhstan's obligations taken within the Customs Union. It is planned to complete the negotiation process by the end of the year," Massimov assured.
