Kazakhstan emphasizes strengthening of mutual cooperation of Turkic-speaking countries, Nazarbayev

ASTANA. April 28. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "Kazakhstan places special emphasis on strengthening of mutual cooperation between the Turkic-speaking countries, revival of the common spiritual values," the welcome address of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the participants of the second plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-speaking countries reads.

The session is taking place at the Astana Palace of Peace and Accord. Chairman of the TurkPA, Speaker of the Kazakh Majilis Ural Mukhamedzhanov read the address.

"The Turkic world is a golden bridge which spans our cultural heritage. We have common roots, history, religion, language and culture. We have to use our property and our values for creative purposes," the message reads.

As the President stated, the Turkic Council, TURKSOY, Turkic Academy and TurkPA pave the foundation for further closer rapprochement of the Turkic-speaking nations. The Assembly works on deepening of interparliamentary cooperation, mainstreaming of regional and international integration processes.
