Kazakhstan Education Ministry to launch e-learning system
ASTANA. April 13. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The Kazakh Education and Science Ministry sets to launching e-learning system at secondary schools," director of strategic planning and information technologies department Nurgali Arshabekov said.
Introduction of e-learning system is one of the guidelines of the state-run education development programme til 2020. Schools will be provided with digital educational resources, 4-10 Mb broadband Internet. E- class registers, e-libraries, schedules, will be launched as well.
Teachers and pupils will get an access to the world's best educational resources.
The Ministry readies to start e-learning in 44 schools of Almaty, Astana cities and Karaganda region. Next year the school numbers will increase up to 537, in 2013 up to 926.
