Kazakhstan develops medical tourism, provides medical services to patients from 31 countries

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan actively develops its medical tourism expanding geography of the countries requiring its medical services. For example, patients from the US, Japan, Italy, Russia and Kyrgyzstan undergo treatment at the National Medical Holding in Astana.

Last year 832 foreign patients from the UK, the US, Turkey, Bulgaria, Sri Lanka and the Philippines, including those working in Kazakhstan and CIS member states were provided with medical services in Kazakhstan. According to the Patients Вeyond Вorders Journal, about 8 million people globally get treatment abroad.
