Kazakhstan, Czech Republic beef up coop in tourism, engineering

ASTANA. June 11. KAZINFORM The Kazakh-Czech intergovernmental commission for economic, scientific-technical and industrial cooperation is believed to hold its next session in two cities of Kazakhstan - Almaty and Ust-Kamenogorsk, Altay Abibullayev, official spokesperson of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, told the Monday briefing.

Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Bakytzhan Dzhaksaliyev of Kazakhstan and Deputy Minister of Industry and External Trade Milan Govorka of Czech Republic are planning to discuss the prospects of bilateral cooperation and ways to build it up.

"As you may know, Kazakhstan and Czech Republic are beefing up cooperation in the field of tourism and engineering," Altay Abibullayev added.

The sales turnover between Kazakhstan and Czech Republic made USD 211.7 million in 2011. The same rate accounted for USD 70.7 million in January-April 2012.
