Kazakhstan and U.K. sign over $1 billion worth of deals

ASTANA. July 1. KAZINFORM President Nursultan Nazarbayev has urged British businessmen to participate in ambitious projects implemented in Kazakhstan.

Summing up the results of the bilateral negotiations with the British business delegation, the Head of State noted the sides touched upon many issues on economic and political cooperation, situation in the region, prospects for the future cooperation. "Today we have signed business deals that will promote our collaboration to a new level," the Kazakh President added.

According to the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, today Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom have signed deals worth more than $1 billion.
