DUSHANBE. February 14. KAZINFORM. A presentation of the Kazakh-Tajik Investment Fund took place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on February 10.

According to the Chairman of Board of Directors of the Fund Mukan Sagyndykov, the fund is aimed at the implementation of effective investment projects in Tajikistan, as well as outside of the country if the parties agree. The purpose-built capital of the Fund makes US$ 80 million, 80 percent of which is provided by Kazakhstan and the rest by the Government of Tajikistan. The focus on economic sectors for investment will include mining, agriculture, electricity generation, finance, and telecommunication technologies, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry's press service reports.
