Kazakh Supreme Court chairman holds meeting with judge of DIFC in Dubai
On Sunday, Kairat Mami visited the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). As noted by the chairman of the appellate judicial board on civil and administrative affairs of the South Kazakhstan regional court Madyar Balken, the purpose of the visit is to promote cooperation between the judicial systems of the two countries; exchange of experience in the field of criminal and civil cases (especially related to investment disputes), as well as strengthening cooperation with Dubai International Financial Centre and its courts. "In accordance with the instructions given by the Head of State at the 6th Congress of the judges, the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan is actively working to modernize the judicial system and current legislation," said Madyar Balken. This visit is of great importance for strengthening collaboration with the United Arab Emirates and the DIFC, as well as for the implementation of the UAE best practices in Kazakhstan.
