Kazakh Senate reviews bill on state symbols

ASTANA. June 11. KAZINFORM Kazakhstani Senate reviewed the draft law "On amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan" at the session of its Committee for Social and Cultural Development on Monday (June 11).

As was pointed out during the session, the bill was developed in order to bring the current legislative acts in sync with the draft of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On amendments to the Constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

The draft law amends the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Code on Administrative Offences. The bill strengthens responsibility for improper use of the State Flag, Anthem and Coat of Arms.
