Kazakh seismologists record quake in Afghanistan
NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM The network of seismic stations of the Kazakh Education and Science Ministry recorded an earthquake at 11:42 a.m., Kazinform reports.
The 4.8 magnitude quake was centered 828 km southwestwards Almaty in the territory of Afganistan. Its energy class is 11.4. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 120km, it said in a statement.
