Kazakh President received Chairman of Board of Kazkommertsbank

ASTANA. March 28. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev received Chairman of the Board of "Kazkommertsbank" JSC Nurzhan Subkhanberdin, the press service of the President reported.

N.Subkhanberdin informed the President about the dynamics of "Kazkommertsbank" JSC development and expressed gratitude for the measures taken in the period of the global financial crisis that allowed rendering financial assistance to banks, small and medium business.

The sides also discussed debt relief issues for Kazakhstani non-oil sector companies.

"It is obvious that banks must credit to provide the growth of non-oil sector of the economy. This year we set a task to provide long-term funding of projects of our clients and mortgage lending. In this regard we continue our work with both the capital markets and the state. 2011 is an important year for our country and for our bank which marks its 20^th anniversary," N.Subkhanberdin said.
