Kazakh President calls on foreign investors to support International University in Astana

ALMATY. June 4. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has called on foreign investors to support the International University in Astana.

"The University will be opened on June 28. It will work according to the programs of western universities. Gifted children graduating from the intellectual schools will be enrolled there in strict exam conditions", the Head of the State stressed.

N. Nazarbayev also noted that "the idea on implementation of the project "Intellectual Nation" should be a core of the Education Development Program till 2020 that the Government of Kazakhstan is developing now."

"I call on the investors to support the fund of the new university since its graduates will work at your enterprises", the President said.
