Kazakh PM prioritizes price control measures

ASTANA. April 14. KAZINFORM On Wed by instruction of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev country's PM Karim Massimov continued his working trip over the regions. The PM met with the core groups of South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Almaty regions and Almaty city, the PM's press service reports.

Massimov introduced the President-appointed governors. At the extraordinary sessions of the oblast maslikhats the deputies unanimously voted for the proposed candidacies.

The PM highlighted the local executive agencies should keep on fulfilling the state-run forced industrial and innovation development and small and medium business support programmes, extending agro-industrial complex, and realizing employment, healthcare, education and housing construction programs.

According to Massimov, control over the prices for foodstuff, lubricants, construction materials and medicine is one of the top priorities set by the President for 2011.
